Syllabus rows now have a title and a description
Every skill in the Mathematics syllabus used to be one long sentence. Now each row has a short heading and, under it, the sentence that explains it. For the first pre-school skill, a parent sees Know the numbers 1 to 10, then "Recites number words 1–10 in order, without skipping or repeating." In French: Connaître les nombres de 1 à 10, then "Récite la comptine numérique de 1 à 10 dans l'ordre, sans sauter ni répéter de nombre."
That row also gets a second activity. The old Count in Order is split in two: Count in Order (1-5) for the little ones, and Count in Order (1-10) for the next step. Both practise the same skill, so progress on it counts either way.
Titles exist for every grade from pre-school to Grade 5, in English and French.
